EVENT DETAILS
After much valuable time in pre-production for our upcoming Filipinx-Gothic film, Gamu-Gamo, our production has officially launched our INDIEGOGO CAMPAIGN in hopes of raising funds for our multi-talented cast and crew. In hopes of being able to express our team's dedication to sharing this story, we've created this immersive event to showcase each department head in this museum-like exhibit for guests to walk into the world of Gamu-Gamo. Alongside this experimental take on the film, we will be supported by filipino owners of ISTORYA with a brief discussion on filipino food and we will also be hosting an engaging all-women ASIAN-AMERICAN CINEMA PANEL that brings us together to talk about our cultures, family values, and many more topics.

Our biggest expense will be building the moth-like creature, a key element of our story. Not only does it weave Filipino folklore into the narrative, but it also creates surreal moments that shape Liezel’s journey through family secrets and self-discovery.
Bringing the world of Gamu-Gamo to life is an exciting challenge that will push our team to find creative locations and practical sets. While many locations will be easily accessible, we are actively searching for a funeral parlor to film the funeral scene. The good news? We already have a casket ready for our beloved Lola to rest in! (╯˘ -˘ )╯
