BIOGRAPHY
Veronica Castillo De la Vega is a Mexican-Guatemalan filmmaker based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her first short film, An Arrangement of Skin won several awards at her university film festival and was nominated for an ASC Student Heritage Award. She was awarded the Johnny Brenden Film grant from her university to produce her first feature film called Critical Incidents. Additionally she ran a successful funding campaign and raised $20,000 to help raise her budget. She started as an Assistant Director and learned her passion for creative and logistic planning. Her work spotlights womanhood, family relationships, and surrealism.
